Making the cut in Chorlton: Close Male Grooming opens new salon in the suburbs
From urban to suburban, Close Male Grooming is to open its third boutique salon in Chorlton this Saturday 29th September. Already established in Manchester with two city salons, Close is branching out and set to style the male population of this trendy suburb.
Grooming and appearance have become a top priority for the modern man and owner of Close, Alex Shore wanted to offer the men of Manchester more than just your average barbershop. He set out by asking the question ‘If Carling did men’s hairdressing…?’ and brought his vision of that to life.
Close Male Grooming specialises in luxury haircuts, hair colouring and traditional cut-throat shaves as well as facials and Indian head massages. With men’s magazines and toys like the Xbox 360 and PS3 to keep the big boys entertained as well complimentary beer, wine and freshly roasted coffee, Close offers a truly unique and fun experience.
Close Male Grooming has proved popular with the city crowd and both salons on Whitworth Street West and Great Ancoats have been branded a huge success. Alex wanted to take his vision further and believes that expanding out into Cholrton is a natural move.
Alex comments: “The male grooming market has grown at a rapid pace in recent years, but for such a vibrant and cosmopolitan city, there has been a gap in the market for an upmarket male grooming establishment. Close filled this gap and we are looking forward to taking the brand to Chorlton.
“Chorlton is full of cool and quirky bars and restaurants and continues to attract image conscious young professionals and students, so it is the perfect location for Close to make its next mark.”
The official launch of Close Male Grooming Chorlton takes place this Saturday at 8pm at the salon on Wilbraham Road. If you would like to come along to the launch or if you would simply like to book yourself in, then please contact Alex on firstname.lastname@example.org
