Fetch Chorlton

Aggravated burglary at The Trever Arms

At around 6.15am on Wednesday 19 June 2013, a man climbed through an insecure window of the Trevor Arms pub, Beech Road, Chorlton and made his way to the living quarters.

He picked up a knife and walked into the victim's bedroom where he was sleeping.

The man threatened him and forced him to the office area where he stole money and ran off.

He is described as being mixed race male, 20 years old, medium build, 5ft 10in tall, wearing a bright blue hooded top on with the hood up, draw strings pulled tight covering his mouth, black pants, and black trainers

Detective Constable Matt Smith based at West Didsbury Police Station said: "The victim awoke to find a man standing over him, holding a knife and threatening him harm if he was not given any money.

"Unfortunately, the man stole the CCTV hardrive to the pub so we are unable to get a detailed description of the offender. However, I would still appeal to those who may have been jogging, walking the dog or on their way to work and noticed anything suspicious to contact police."
